We remember that yesterday Mrs. Presidents Vjosa Osmani, Blerim Vela insisted that meeting It's not about delaying elections, and today he was exposed by the IKSHPK.
The letter says that holding elections poses a threat to the spread and increase of COVID-19 infection and, as a result, increase in risk of fatality.
“Based on the current epidemiological situation of COVID-19, based on reports of hospitalized cases and deaths by SHSKUK and regional hospitals, and results for the month until the beginning of October, IKSHPK's Task Team feels that keeping the election process, which includes in itself public gatherings and citizens' collection, poses a risk of spreading and increasing the COVI-19 infection as a result of increased risk of fatal cases. Therefore, since the electoral process may have increased impact on the spread and increase of cases with COVIID-19, it recommends delaying the election process, respectively, preventing public activities, citizens' collection and public gatherings of all kinds and nature without exception, until the epidemiological assessment of the next”, it said in letter to President I KSHPS published by KOHA.
Yesterday the country's president has sent out invitation for political parties to meet to discuss the IKSHP's opinion of the impact that elections may have on the pandemic situation Kosovo is going through.
