“This has made it difficult for the public, the part where the hearings are open, to be informed about developments in TrsK, as well as the media to report correctly about the statements of witnesses to the Special. ” said in a media communiqué.
The fact explained that the identity of witnesses, taking into account other protective measures, can also be provided without changing the voice so substantially that, according to them, you lose your understanding.
Kosovo's “Institute for Justice (IKD) supports protection of witness identity in such cases near TrsK. As long as the session is open, IKD considers that the general public should be able to hear witness statements”
And the IKD calls for witness statements in the next sessions to be more understandable to the general public.
