“has not been an appointment for mail or other messages. There has been more return to agenda and focus Kosovo- Serbia as one of the EU's priority tasks within the process of normalising dialogue. This return is a hopeful”.
“We have been notified with the goals and commitments [Miroslav]'s agenda. Lajcak includes. This is on every visit, because Lajcak regularly visits Pristina underlining his presence and commitment to this dialogue. There were two leadership meetings. Following the February 14th elections were several meetings of working groups called technical groups, but there are no tangible results. There is still no political action or step that gives political oxygen to dialogue and confidence that the comprehensive agreement on its framework on issues that have now been agreed on and some time forward. This is the main goal and message for the dialogue to go ahead of”.
He in Klan Kosova said the message of this meeting was “the need to continue the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue”.
This was the topic, issue and key conversation discussed with the LDK and LDK chairman [Lomir Abdixhiku]. We have confirmed our position and the political and historical role of the LDK in these talks and others regarding the Kosovo issue. These talks, formatted in dialogue for normalisation and both the priorities of the EU and the US, of course, was the main issue we talked about”.
Did Miroslav Lajcak have any requests for the opposition LDK's role in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue?
“We confirmed our role without having to ask for clarification from anyone. We confirmed that we are opposition parties and our role is opposition in the Assembly. We support dialogue. Dialogue has no option and is the only direction for Kosovo. Good neighbourly reports are LDK policy, and dialogue is an instrument to solve these problems”.
We requested clarity, commitment and greater security in the agenda, because belief in this process is wavering. If you look at the recent developments and the role of international mediators, this belief is fluctuating”.
