Hamiti: VV and “discovered” only after February 14th that joining Albania does not allow Constitution

LDK official and former Kosovo ambassador to London Muhamet Hamiti has talked about German Chancellor Angela Merkel's visit to Tirana and the meeting she had with Kurti today. Hamiti says Kosovo's good relations with Germany have been built for 30 years now and, according to him, these should also be preserved by the current Kosovo leaders.
“Taxation [ Kurti-Merkel] was important, but meeting substance is even more important. From the statements I heard we can't tell what the real substance of the meeting was. The real subject will be seen a little later by the results”, he said at RTV Dukagujini.
The LDK official has also criticised Kurt's speech after meeting with Merkel.
There is no need for us on the outside to report statements that are for domestic political consumption”.
Speaking of bad reports between Kurt and Rama, Hamiti says it's both.
He says Kurti has had the full mouth of joining Albania, until according to him “Kurti understood only after he became prime minister that Kosovo has a constitution that does not allow this”.
“Kurti is the same one that has led LVV, a platform that has received many votes for Albania's unification. What happened next. A few days after the February 14th elections “revealed” that Kosovo Constitution is banning joining Albania. The constitution was there”
Hamiti has also criticised the government for failing to appoint new ambassadors to many countries around the world.
