A Facebook post says that the inoculation process is continuing as the number of new cases has suffered significant decline.

From today we have under 10,000 active cases, for the first time after August 15th, while today the positiveness of new cases is only 2.9%, the lowest since August 2nd”, the post says.

Otherwise, in the last 24 hours in our country, 10 victims have been confirmed as a result of infectious disease. Since the outbreak in March 2020, Kosovo has recorded over 158 thousand positive cases, of which 2,899 people have died.

Full Posting:

So far over 440,000 citizens have been vaccinated with two doses or 35% of the adult population over 18. The vaccination process is continuing, and at this rate we are on a good track to exceed 60% of the adult population by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, this week the number of new cases has suffered significant declines, as well as hospitalised cases. From today we have under 10,000 active cases, for the first time after August 15th, while today the positiveness of new cases is only 2.9%, the lowest since August 2nd.

Families of victims from COVID-19 express our sincerest condolences.

Let us continue carefully, respecting the masses and vaccinating. Together we do it!
