Gervala ministry gives reason why it did not give Petkov permission to enter Kosovo

Kosovo has banned the Office for Kosovo's entry into the Government of Serbia, Peter Petkov, due to reportedly, despite its continuing assurances that it will be contained by promotional statements, in its recent visits to Kosovo, he has made the <x0-odd provocative”. Petkov has said that Kosovo does not [...]
Petkov has said Kosovo did not allow it to stay on a two-day visit to Kosovo, scheduled on September 3rd and 4th.
The “contrary to the obligation taken and the pledge to be contained by provocative and inciting statements of hatred, it has consistently in the last three visits openly used hate and promotional languages, climaxing in the recent visit to the inauguration of the so-called éuniversities in Northern Mitrovica”, the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaposs said in a response to Radio Free Europe.
However, MPJD has not clarified which statements Petkovic calls as provocative and inciting hatred.
From the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, earlier Friday, said Petkov was scheduled to stay two days in Kosovo to visit several business subjects “Serbia's state has provided new jobs”, as well as to visit several families living in serious economic conditions.
According to this office, this is the third consecutive stop Kosovo puts Petkovic and this “on the eve of continuing dialogue in Brussels next week”. This office warned that these stops would be part of discussions in Brussels.
Petkovic's office said that the Kosovo Foreign Ministry's rationale for stopping its entry into Kosovo “is unbased”.
On August 20th, Serbia said that in northern Mitrovica it has placed the cornerstone of the so-called “University of Pristina with the provisional headquarters in Mitrovica”.
At this event, Petkov had declared:
This is the cornerstone of the unity of our people in Kosovo, and for this day we are united as we were and will be -- both our Serbian List and our University and the state of Serbia. Our people have only this unity to come through, as the president (of Serbia, Aleksandar) Vuciq” has said.
From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas said that, for more, Petkov had not warned of the visit to Kosovo on September 3rd and 4th.
“Based on this, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has not allowed entry into Kosovo for the 3-4 September 2021 dates, while for the rest of the delegation it has approved entry”, the MPJD said.
Kosovo and Serbia, within the dialogue mediated by the European Union, had also reached agreements on official visits in 2011, where the parties reportedly should announce each other's visits to the respective states.
