“Site to the north needs de-pass. I call on both sides to talk to each other and not to each other. The best way ahead: meet in Brussels and find solutions as soon as possible”, the German diplomat writes on Twitter.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that Kosovo is ready to go to Brussels to negotiate the issue, it has been Serbia that has rejected such a meeting.
For the seventh day in a row, two roads linking Kosovo and Serbia are blocked by local Serbs, who are opposing reciprocity's move for plates.
Two incidents were marked yesterday, when authorities reportedly burned the Autonomous Record Centre in Zubin Potok and the Civil Record Centre in Zvecan has been attacked.
Today, Prime Minister Kurti met with Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi and LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, with whom he has talked about the situation and developments in the northern part of Kosovo, as well as the dedication of Kosovo institutions in the service of peace and security, constitutionality and legitimacy in the country, while opposition leaders have expressed full support for the rule of law throughout the territory and for the protection of Kosovo state borders.
