A conservative MP, Brian Madderson, has called on the military to launch remittances to restore people's trust.
“As soon as a tank comes to a gas pump, people in social media immediately show that it's here and then it becomes like bees after honey with people. All in a hurry to the pump... and within hours, no more gas,” he said, follow Periscope.
The country's prime minister has declared that army drivers were ready to help tankers help deliver gasoline and oil.
