According to him, since, as he says, the country can become gas distribution destination, and the benefits will be great.
Gerjali in an interview for Online Economics, stresses that the country's institutions should generate policies of partnership with the US, rather than rejection.
It should be understood that Kosovo should generate the policy of non-refusive political partnership, and not that Kosovo is the product of international diplomacy, it should not hesitate in this direction where America's contribution is well understood. In this regard, it should not waste time on where gas is coming from, whether it will come from Azerbaijan or the Soviet Union, as it will be monitored, so in this direction we have to do more than speed up this process and not waste time to fail” and one of the most important points of last year's Washington deal had been gas pipeline, until for this former chairman of the Economic Ode says Kosovo has no comfort of rejection. While the benefits will be great for business and family economies, Gerxhaliu says.
“I believe that 2020 in addition to what was the year of the pandemic, it had two dates that were important to me, the first was the agreement in Washington, and the second was the meeting of the Berlin process, in Sofia, where several agreements were signed that are important to the future of Kosovo, and the very fact that in Sofia three agreements have been signed that concern the green agenda, the second has to do for the common regional market, and the third has to do with ensuring the free movement of goods (4)1x>
Washington's “Agreement should be dealt with with with with a seriousness, and in this agreement it is seen that one signed point will also be the gas pipeline and Kosovo does not have the comfort of such rejection and approach, but it has to be argued, and in this direction this gas will have positive effects on business and family economies, but it must be understood that the experiences of developed countries teach us that gas supply increases the economy” “The company will be managed by the American Hearts, but oil is imported by Arab countries, in this direction it is up to the way to analyze the benefits of gas rather than to find ideas to reject and particular Washington's agreement is that it does not support Kosovo alone, but supports the Western Balkans”. “Kosovo can be gas distribution destination, and in that direction benefits can be positive in the interest of Kosovo and the country”, he said.
And for bringing in the pipeline, there has been constant criticism from former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, until he criticised the country's government that it is jeopardising the most important economic and geopolitical programme. “Politisation and damage to the Gaz project is scandalous, the most important economic and geopolitical project for Kosovo” is being jeopardised by Haradinaj in his letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
