Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has indicated that his statements about the agreement to open KLA archives have been distorted. But interestingly, now Bislim says these archives were all open.
He at a long stay in his Facebook profile has said all documents about the Kosovo Liberation Army belong to the Kosovo State Archives.
“They have been and continue to be open, exploited and exploited by both locals and international mechanisms, including local and international courts here, but UNMIK or EULEX. They are an important part of documentaries and books produced so far. There is nothing hidden or classified in these archives, as there is no reason to hide”.
The Kosovo Liberation Army has been a defence and non-aggressive army, and no one has disputed or rejected the purity of its war. So it's only logical that even leaders like Mr. Lajcak has been able and continues to have access to full access to this segment of the Kosovo state archive”, Bislimi has indicated.
“in this context, the only side that benefits from the agreement reached in Brussels (if respected by Serbia and we can discuss it anyway), is the Kosovar side, which wins the opportunity to consult valid documents on the whereabouts of troops of missing persons still missing and undiscovered. The outcome of the anxiety of the families of these people should all be happy, not to be terrified by the eventual success of our dialogue team”.
He has said that those who have come up with attacks on his statements with the argument that agreeing to open archives changes the Narrative of “indictees” for missing persons have fallen into that trap with their up to date positions.
