“KFOR and EULEX knew that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti would send special police units north of Kosovo, and that they did not oppose this”, Draun declared.
While he has also said there has been a meeting between Kosovo authorities and KFOR, where, according to him, Kosovo has sought to replace the Kosovo Special Police Unit with KFOR troops, but that there is no information about whether KFOR has accepted it.
“KFOR was also present on September 20th, so we had destabilisation of the situation, if they are already a factor of stability, they should not allow it,” Drescu told RTS.
