So said SBASK chairman Nundman Jasharaj.
Jasharaj stressed that if the Ministry of Health and the IKSHPK see danger at the start of the school year then they should start preparing for other versions of learning.
“We have stated that any next school year extension will present additional problems and create questions about how we can replace lost days and hours because even until September 27 we have 18 days of lost learning and we will have a lot of trouble replacing them. The SBASK has expressed itself publicly against any further delays, we think that if the public health institutions, the Ministry of Health and the IKSHPK are really at risk of beginning the school year, then MASTI, DKA along with us and all the others have to engage these days and prepare to start with another version of learning, such as the online lesson that no one wants because it's too difficult to do but we have to do something because any further postponement will bring problems and confrontations on when and how we're going to replace lost hours. Even with these 18 days, we'll be in trouble and then leave if the school year goes any further”.
Contract Jasharaj said that SBASK, now opposed the extension of the school year in June and July due to weather conditions.
There will be reasonable reactions of the SBASK and the first reaction will be that whatever the job is, the school year doesn't last because June and July are hot months and our schools are not equipped with elements that create a proper temperature. From now on, we're against the length of the school year, if we push further, we'll be in trouble about what to do. The SBASK appeals that if there are really no conditions to continue on September 27th with school instruction, then KAS, DKA and others should think that it should start with online learning or other possible forms”, Jasharaj told “Gazeta Blic”.
Health Minister Arben Vitita declared today that I's recommendation The KSHPK is to keep schools closed even after September 27th.
