Economic Affairs Knower Agron Demi has written that there is no reason for delaying the elections, as President Vjosa Osmani put it on as an idea, but supported it.
He has compared active cases on February 14 and now with vaccines.
Here's a full post:
There is no logical reason to postpone local elections. When held on to elections on February 14th, there have been over 64,000 positive cases of ZERO vaccines.
Today, when the election extension is required, there are 18,000 active virus cases and there are administrations over a MILLION vaccine.
When on February 14th it was rightly required to keep the election critical of power, it was that it was not managing pandemic well. Now, when the election extension is being requested, the ruling party is boasting about how it manages well with the pandemic and that we have the highest rate of vaccine in the region. Why, then, did my election hold up?
Why was the VV the only party that wasn't declared for cutting or canceling the campaign, but is it about extending elections?
If IKSCK has missed the recommendations all summer, just as the prime minister said yesterday, why aren't I missing the election extension recommendation?!
Canceling the election campaign with physical presence and respecting safeguard clauses on Election Day is the only option.
