According to senior executive officials in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, agreements will be signed between the two governments, but without making them public. The previous meeting was postponed because of holding early elections in Kosovo on February 14th.
Political analyst Albert Musliu has described the event as a development to be hailed. He said that North Macedonia is interested in co-operation with Kosovo, while bringing to the attention that with Zaev's arrival, interstate agreements have not been missed. The first of these has been with Kosovo.
According to him, Serbia will not break agreements with the RMV despite its co-operation with Kosovo.
Musliu said in Euronews Albania that agreements and co-operation among Western Balkan countries have significantly changed the conflicted climate in the region. In the view of the Balkan analyst, it has already passed the conflict phase.
