Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has said that Belgrade and Pristina will find it difficult to progress towards the EU with unresolved issues among themselves, and especially Belgrade, which is constantly talking about the Serbian world, writes HRT.
Kosovo has yet to be recognised by all, even by EU members. It's a barrier we've been looking at for years and it's hard to overcome, I can call for stabilisation of the” situation, Milanovic said.
He says the situation in Kosovo does not directly jeopardise Croatia, but that they are monitoring it.
Among other things, the Croatian president said he had received very broad information from the Security Intelligence Agency, but that he should not talk about it, and added he was not concerned.
There are things we can control and things we can't, and things we don't know. Croatia may be calmer than ever,”, Milanovic said.
The Croatian president says his state should invest in the military.
He said the government in Belgrade is talking about the Serbian “world” and added that he always urges Croats to be rational if they do not live in Croatia.
