The recent austerity measures for preventing the spread of COVIDD-19 taken by the government, especially for closing day-to-day nests and attitudes, are being rejected by employers and employers.
Although the government has, with the last decision, freed one parent from work both in the public sector and in the private sector for the care of children at home, does not presuppose the financial support of private companies that cover the wages of those staying at home.
The management director of the German Economic Ode in Kosovo, Nora Hasani, says of Kosova Preris that all mothers, who today were forced to take children to the office, found themselves before a “Act carried out” and had no choice today for tomorrow.
Hasan says that in most companies, parents who had no choice had to take children with them to work.
In most companies today for parents who had no choice, they had to take children with them. We have from our own companies that we represent as ode, inflammation that there were mothers and fathers who were forced to take children to work. Those who did not have that opportunity, or the luxury of everyone doing so had to take a break. So they have to stay home. Let's not forget, no one can work from a distance. There are certain work profiles that require the physical presence of employees. So this has been difficult for employers, since we have not planned that there will be such measures. Perhaps if there had been a transitional period and it was warned that it would occur in ten days, we had been able to make solutions - whether as parents. I am speaking here in the quality of my parent, as a mother, of a school child who is obliged to go into a daily attitude, but at the same time in the quality of teacher”, Hasani said.
Director Hasani says how employers are burdened with the government's recent decision to close day-to-day nests and stays.
“We as employers are also burdened, since without any warning that has been needed perhaps on issues that have been planned for months, we now lack staff at work because they have no solution for their children”, she said.
On the other hand, Hasani also expressed concern for securing salaries for workers to be fired.
“Parents who are both employed in the private sector, where physical presence is required maybe, the employer is obliged to find out how little (mother-parents) are available. In this case, working women who are mothers are becoming weighed down over the time they are out of work, their employer may be obliged to find a replacement. And the question is who will cover those expenses that are being created to employer”, Hasani said.
The prime minister's office and the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers have not responded to Kosova Prees over the issue of salary coverage for these workers who are infected by the recent decision to close the nests.
On the other hand, the PSD today also held an action before the Government on the decision affecting employed parents.
