The Central Election Commission has made a decision on the exact number of ballots that will be printed for the mayoral elections and the Communist Assembly.
The CEC's decision is based on the final voter list, under which for the October 17th local elections, the number of eligible citizens within the country is: 1 million and 885 thousand and 448 voters.
For the mayoral elections, 1 million and 698 thousand and 600 ballot papers will be printed, while for the elections for Municipal Countries will also be printed 1 million and 698 thousand and 600 ballot papers. So the total number of paperwork that will be printed for the two types of October 17th elections is 3 million and 397 thousand and 200 ballot papers.
According to the CEC decision, 186 thousand of 848 ballots will be printed less than voters or a percentage of 9,91 % and this is a practice followed even in past election processes.
In recent elections, those parliamentary ones held in February, the CEC had printed about 178 thousand ballots less than the number of voters.
