At least ten bullets were fired on the car of Serhiy Sherri, Zelenskiy's old adviser and friend, while he was traveling through the village of Lesnyky to the capital.
His driver was shot with three bullets and undergoing surgery, reports Guardian, translates Periscope.
The Chief wasn't shot by the shooting.
The photographer reports that the police had found ten bullet holes in the car used by The Chiefry.
Police have not arrested any suspects so far.
Moscow has denied responsibility for the attack in question.
Zelenskiy said he would cut his trip to New York after addressing the United Nations General Assembly. /Periscope
