The second government, after meeting with the Serbian delegation during two days this week, said they have found compliance with topics that can be discussed by the high political level.
During the expert-level meeting, Bislimi said the Serbian side has agreed in principle to open state archives on the issue of the unknowns, but said Serbia also wants the opening of KLA archives.
“We have noted that the main problem with the issue of missing by force is the Serbian side's unwillingness to open state archives. We've also discussed the return of some of the mortar remains of the victims found in Kishak. We have also requested the participation of (Velko) Odreovich in the Serbian delegation. The Serbian side has said they agree to open all archives, including archives in Kosovo and KLA”, he said.
Bislimi, by means of a media conference, also disclosed details about discussions on the agreement on energy and license plates.
“We have made it clear that the EU's mandate along with the finding of solutions is also monitoring and assisting for the agreements thus far. As far as energy is concerned, it has to do with licensing the power operator. As for the license agreement, we have made it known that the agreement ends on September 15th and we have no interest in continuing”, he said.
