In an interview for News24, Alimehmet says the issue is more sensitive than the risk of infection. According to him, there are still no sure facts as vaccines have emerged for eight months as they wait for the first babies from pregnant mothers to be born normally in the 9th month.
He adds that pregnant mothers are also given unnecessary counsel sometimes for security.
“does not hurt fertility. In health, we want to do our studies, have some facts. Why do we have evidence that vaccines were made in January? Eight months have passed. The pregnancy lasts nine months. It takes the first babies with mothers and fathers to be vaccinated before pregnancy. There's no signal or red flag for caution. It is sensitive, and it is known that pregnant mothers are given thousands of counsel, even unnecessary. Is there a big problem with pregnancy lasting six months? If you're going to have a vaccine right now and you're delayed by months of pregnancy?
