The medicine was in the seventh month of pregnancy, until the anesthesiologist in the Intensive Medicine Department, Agreta Gecaj-Gashi says the 28-year-old woman was lying in this department and according to her, the patient had no other associated diseases.
The patient in Intensive Medicine has been treated three days. Unfortunately, they ended up fatally with her mother and baby... she didn't have any other accompanying diseases”.
Gicaj-Gashi says that in Intensive medicine, two other pregnant girls are also in very serious health condition.
“We have a rapid increase in pregnancy that has shown serious forms of disease and that have sought medication in the Intensive Department. Unfortunately, five have ended up in death, while two other pregnant women are being treated in intensive treatment as well as in very serious condition”, Gecaj-Gashi said.
Meanwhile, another 10 pregnant women are infected with coronavirus and are being treated in the Gynecology Clinic and are in good health.
The current state of the 10 is good for now. They have been treated for several days”, gynecologist Curr Jocaj said.
Health experts have repeatedly called for pregnant women and breast-feeders to be vaccinated.
