America to invest nearly $3 billion in vaccines

The United States will invest an estimated $3 billion in the chain of anti - Coronavirus vaccines.

The additional money, which will be distributed in the coming weeks, will focus on companies that contribute to the production of vaccines, as well as on firms that fill up and package vaccines, said the White House's Council for Coronavirus, Jeffrey Zients.

The U.S. is the most affected country in the world by the Coronavirus. Over 39 million people have been infected there and over 63,000 have lost their lives.

Over 219 million people have been affected worldwide. Of them, over 4.5 million have died.
