For Vetevendosje, the increased movement on the street, once police stopping opposition activists, was a tool of power. PDK power and Hashim Thaci. Now, when Albin Kurti is in power, once his right arm, Dardan Moliqaj, is arrested violently for any activity.

Chairman The PSD, Dardan Moliqaj and other activists of his party have been arrested after hindering the arrest of Special Court Chairman Ekaterina Trendafilova's conference.

Two PSD activists enter the conference room and interrupt, whistling. Others wrote <x0non grata” in an Eulex machine. Molliq was bleeding during the arrest and the police were pressing him and the others on the street while they were cuffing themselves.

Moliq's protests and opposition to the Eulex and Special Tribunal activity is well known. In addition, he recently opposed this mission to his current ruling associates, one carrying the post of prime minister, writes the newspaperexpress.

The Vetevendosje movement, whose leadership for several years was Dardan Molyqaj along with Albin Kurti of Visar Ymerin, had turned around official Elex cars.

A few years have passed, power has been changed, and Molyqaj has continued the tradition of coloured protest on the street with whistles.

The new power, however, is not being mild - tempered with all these methods known to them.

Moliqaj with PSD friends has been repeatedly arrested, several times violent by police.

Two months earlier, in July 2021, former senior Vetevendosje Movement official Frasher Krasniqi had been arrested equally violently. The PSD had organised an action contesting the 5-euro sticky ticket, which the Ministry of Infrastructure, led by Lieburn Aliu, had decided to put on a list of car registration obligations. After the reactions, the ministry withdrew from that decision.

The images of Krasniqi's arrest had seemed so violent that on Facebook, they were being spotted, classified as heavy images.

Krasniqi, now a major critic of Kurti Government, had previously been arrested several times as part of LV.

The LVV's arrests of Krasniqi, when he was with them, called them the persecution of activists.

In July, after the action, the prosecution had demanded that Molliqaj be held in custody. For the arrest, Krasniqi accused Interior Minister Jalal Svecla.

After the violence of chief police officer Jelal Svecla, the prosecution puts PSD President Dardan Molliq in custody. When the abuse got near, they tried to defend themselves by lying. When lies were soon revealed, violence was at hand. Activists were brutally arrested for a completely peaceful political action”, Krasniqi had written on Facebook, following the arrests and keeping Mollyqaj at the station.

Following public pressure and after allegations that power was making these arrests, the Kosovo government reacted.

The government announced that police operation has been suspended.

Kosovo's “Police are responsible for maintaining order, public calm and protection of property, respecting human rights. The responsibility for the police operation has already been suspended, while the Kosovo Police Inspectorate is continuing further investigations into the case. In democratic governance there is no room for violence by no one”, the Kosovo Government's response” said in the government's response.

In the last two years, PSD has done a lot more. The new PSD leadership came after the LVV split in 2018. High officials emerged from there, including Wisar Ymer, Aida Drdguin, Dardan Moliqaj, Dardan Sejdiu and Shpend Ahmeti.
