AKK: From tomorrow no unvaccinated municipal official can enter municipal institutions

Mayors Back New Anti-Summer Measures CO VID-19 decided by the Government of Kosovo and starting tomorrow, no unaccompanied municipal official and who does not own the PCR test will have access to municipal institutions. So stated the director of the Association of Kosovo municipalities, Sahan Ibrahimi. [...]

So has the director of the Association of Kosovo municipalities, Saban Ibrahimi, declared in an interview for Kosova Prees, in which he has detailed from the meeting the mayors had with Minister of Health Arben Vitita.

Ibrahimi said recent Kosovo government measures against COVIDD-19, which goes into effect from tomorrow and is the closure of pre-school institutions and daily stays, the closing of nests, the delay in starting school for two weeks, the ban on teaching with physical presence in universities. Students to allow boarding registration should also have vaccination certificate, test PCR or serological.

The head of the AKK has said that the vaccine process has begun since today following the citizens' great interest. He has already announced that at the meeting they had with Minister Vitita, they also discussed persons who are vaccinated to access institutions more easily than those who are not vaccinated.

After the request of the Kosovo Communists Association since this Sunday has begun the vaccine process this has been a collaboration and co-ordination with the Ministry of Health, where all the mayors of municipalities have increased in recent weeks, and this has been a requirement that as many citizens of the Republic of Kosovo be vaccinated, d.m. As of this Sunday they started vaccinating. The next request at the minister's meeting has been for immune persons to have easier access to institutions than non-vaccinated persons is to have some kind of relief in terms of obtaining services, but they have demanded that sooner gastronomies be allowed to work inside bars, because this has impact on local economic development. Minister Vitia has promised that this will be discussed with us in the coming weeks,” said Ibrahimi.

Abraham also estimates that the mayors of the municipalities favor the new arrangements, since they have the lives of citizens as priorities.

The mayors of municipalities always have citizen life, public health, and in no case have interferred with the recommendations process, which have come from relevant health institutions and therefore when it comes to citizen life, the mayors of municipalities support new measures only to save the lives of the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo. It's estimated that the number of infected people is declining, but also the fatality is not falling as we wish. We hope that after these measures the number of infected will fall, but the important thing is that the death toll will drop,” Ibrahim said.

In view of the new cases with COVIED-19, which are affecting children from 0 to 9 and from 9 to 16 rationally, the lesson has been seen to be postponed for two more weeks, Ibrahim has suggested.

“Taking into account that children of new ages from 0 to 9 and from September 9 to 16 are infecting them, the number of those infected in these ages has been found after an increase, not only because of measures, but we believe that the picture of the number of infected has increased earlier and that we believe that the number of infected will be improved and that we will have improvements in terms of respective institutions to meet together, not just because of measures, but we believe that the picture of the number of people has increased and that we believe that the number of infected will fall back to the respective estimates will be made by the institutions that we will meet together, not just because of the results that are in the citizen, Ibrahimi.

He has also announced that from tomorrow, no municipal officials who are not vaccinated and who do not have the PCR test will be able to access municipal institutions.

“All mayors and municipal directors who were present at this last meeting with Minister Vitita have pledged that everything agreed on the implementation of the measures will be agreed on by the local level and we are convinced that tomorrow no municipal officials who have not, have not been vaccinated or immune, have no proof of the PCR or the serial test or as outlined in the recommendations coming from the central level will have access to the municipal institutions, that is the government decision which mayors and also take into account of the CmiVIVA situation, which governs any decision to improve the situation that is to be respected by the local level, Ibrahim Ibrahimi was certain.

Otherwise, new anti-steps CO VID-19 from the Kosovo government comes after the new assessment of the coronary pandemic in the country, where the number of cases of fatality has increased in recent days.

In public and private institutions, until September 26th, the obligation is continued to come to work only the essential staff, while the non-sensual staff is obliged to work from home. For the sake of this decision, essential staff are considered workers whose physical presence in the workplace is necessary for performing tasks.

For families of children registered in pre-school institutions and two employed parents (or one parent, and that parent is employed), one parent is released from the obligation to perform physically during the 13-26th period.

All those who enter Kosovo territory must possess one of the following evidence the certificate of vaccination for full vaculation or taking a dose of vaccine against COVID-19, test RT-PCR negative for COVID-19, no older than 72 hours, evidence that the person has passed COVID-19 (test RT- Positive PCR released no less than 21 days and no more than 180 days or positive results of the serological antibodies test ) IgG, released mostly 30 days ago, or fast negative antigen test no older than 48 hours.

The decision also points out that wearing a mask covering the nose and mouth is binding in all cases, except during driving alone, or when close family members are present in cars exclusively during running, cycling and exercise and eating or drinking.

The citizens' circulation limit continues to be between 10: 00 p.m. and 05 a.m.

Gastronomial services are allowed to carry out their activities in line with the relevant guide. The attitude of customers (food and drink service) is permitted only in the open spaces of gastronomy bars. Use of no more than 70 % of space capacity is allowed.
