World Heart Day
Today, on World Heart Day, along with doctors from Lipjan and the organization AS funded by the Swiss Development and Co-operation Agency (SDC), we stayed in the square where we distributed tracts with information on the disease of this nature and ways we can prevent it.
Cardio-vascular diseases still the leading cause of death in the world. But with careful medical care and control, with continued health monitoring, most deaths caused by these diseases are preventable.
