The agreement that began in November 2020: Kosovo benefits another $3m from US

Kosovo has managed to benefit an additional $3m under the Grant Development Goals Agreement with the UBA. This announcement was issued by the Kosovo Presidency after our President Vjosa Oman signed the agreement's independence 3 along with the director of Kosovo of U. AID, Zeinah Salahin. The report said that the total grant has already increased to over $41 million.
The best service towards citizens from accounting and effective governance institutions is targeted with this agreement, as well as increased opportunities for inclusive democratic and economic participation. Also aimed at improving and co-operation between citizens, civil society, businesses and the public sector so that local communities will have a more favourable position to address Kosovo's developmental challenges”, the Presidency's announcement said.
The agreement was launched in November 2020. At the time, Kosovo benefited $33m, while the amendment 1 and 2. was later signed. Kosovo received an additional $5.5m, while today it benefited three million more.
