Reporter Sans Friends [ RSF says it believes less than 100 out of 700 women's journalists in Kanbul are still working, and only a small part are working from house to two other Afghan provinces.

Others have been attacked and harassed, reports Guardian, translates Periscopi.

By halting women's voices in the media, Taliban are in the process of silenceing the country's women, the report said.

Since the Taliban took control of the country on 15 August, a research by RSF found that most women in media organisations had told women journalists to stop working.

The Kanbul media organizations had owned 700 journalists in 2020. /Periscope
