LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has written public letters to political parties, where he has expressed several proposals for the election campaign at this time of pandemic.
Abdixhiku has proposed that the election campaign be cut from 30 days to 10 days. He has said that instead of addressing the electorate where crowds can gather, this is done through television debates and social networks.

Also, the LDK leader has proposed that candidates be instructed to respect IKSHP's rules of keeping distance.

FT E PUBLIC SICK LINDERS PARTIVE E PARLAMENTAR
Dear LVV chairman, Mr. Kurti,
Dear PDK chairman, Mr. Krasniqi,
Dear AAK chairman, Mr. Haradinaj,
I am addressing you today, in this form, to spread ahead of you and the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, our voters, that's all we together represent, the issue of organising the election campaign in unprecidented times.
Our country, our Republic, has now been listed as the most per capita death in the world. In the last 10 days alone, a total of 189 Kosovars have lost their lives in confrontation with Coddy-19. From one of our fellow citizens, young and old indiscriminately, we are losing it every hour in this confrontation. It's our citizens, our people, whose pain I believe we share all of us here in spite of the positions we hold today or tomorrow.
But over the last 10 days, over 17,420 Kosovars have resulted positive, meaning that, unfortunately, the pace of death will continue for a while. We have to stop this pace. Beyond the state responsibilities that the Government has, the responsibility it has to exercise with full competence, the responsibility it will be held to account for anyway, today I am addressing each of you as head of parties, to overcome ourselves, overcome differences and build an electoral pact. More precisely, in this pact, I propose that:
1. With full political will, despite legal regulation in the country, we cut the election campaign from 30 days to 10 days. Let's move the political confrontation from the ground where we usually gather hundreds and thousands of people at once, in other debates, television, digital and social confrontations.
2. To guide all of our candidates, so that any pre-electoral and electoral activity from today until October 17th, will be recognized by the strict rules set by the Kosovo National Public Health Institute. So to have people as permitted, respect distances, and respect small collection measures as directed by our experts.
So we not only save lives, not only do we give time to mass vaccination that has to happen but we are truly solidified with thousands of doctors and health staffs that have now been facing the greatest human challenge in the last 100 years. At the same time, use it for another campaign, raising public awareness of the vaccine process.
In the event of an eventual reconciliation with this proposal, I suggest we invite Parliament from rest, test a resolution in this direction, and set a good example for the country, our citizens and everyone involved in this regard. In the end, it's public health, the lives of our people, what matters. I hope I expect positive answers in this regard. You will receive this message in written form.
Yours,
Lumir Abdixhiku
Democratic League of Kosovo
