AAK suggests government imposes full reciprocity on Serbia

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo suggests that the Kosovo government impose reciprocity measures in all areas towards Serbia. At Ramush Haradinaj's party, they say the decision on reciprocity for license plates to Serbian vehicles is welcome, but did not have to be taken in the period of local elections. According to them, this decision can [...]
AAK Deputy Chairman Time Kadrijaj expresses concern with the tense situation in the country's north, as she says of Kosova Preress, that by means of the decision to reciprocity for the plates, it has become unfair to the Albanians of Presevo and Bujanovac, as they are being punished in two directions.
Mr. Kurti has consistently posted before he comes to power that reciprocity is a matter of days, not weeks or months. Since Mr. Kurti has the absolute majority in the Parliament and is brought to the arrogance of numbers he will bring reciprocity into all spheres. He recently imposed reciprocity with the plates, but earlier removed reciprocity for bricks that undermine Kosovo's economy. Whether reciprocity should be established as a whole and improvised in all spheres, as Kosovo is treated when travelling to Serbia, the same should be addressed when travelling to Kosovo. We must extend integrity and sovereignty throughout Kosovo and thus support all. Few have become unfair to the Albanians of Presevo and Bujanovac because they are now being punished in two directions”, she says.
Kadrijaj, who is also the AAK MP in the Kosovo Assembly, says of Kosova Pres, that the decision on reciprocity has far behind the electoral lines, until it raises doubts that it may be meant to stop the dialogue process.
“There has been no need to make this decision now in the period of local elections, and when continued dialogue is under way. Perhaps it is intended to stop the dialogue process until the local elections --” are conducted, Kadrijaj points out.
Procrastination of the dialogue process, according to Kadrijaj, does not coincide with Kosovo until it criticises Prime Minister Kurti for populist access to dialogue in Brussels.
We have found that this government has made populism in Brussels almost addressing Kosovo citizens. What we need to dialogue is final status, mutual recognition from both countries, Serbia recognises Kosovo and Kosovo's new reality as a new and independent state and normally build good neighbourly relations, as with all other countries. But according to the statements, we see it is remote. The process of dialogue should not be passed because Kosovo costs procrastination”, she says.
AAK deputy head for Kosova Prees speaks of local elections as well, saying that in the 6 municipalities that only lead the AAK mayors will win without a runoff.
“Aleance stands well because it currently has six municipalities leading with heads who have had good performance, also praised by monitoring organisations at the local level. They had excellent transparency and governance. In addition to these municipalities that we will hold and win without a run-off, we have other excellent candidates, as is Tahiri's loyalty to Podujevo, which the most advanced candidate sonar, have Daut Haradinaj in Pristina who has done good performance and is meeting citizens in every neighbourhood in Pristina, and we have Beki Berisha in Istog, Peja and many other municipalities. We have appointed candidate for credit president and have quality lists for municipal assemblies”, Kadrijaj claims. / KP
