Through a media communique, The AAK states that the legitimacy of institutions and democracy should not be jeopardised.
“Alance has agreed that local elections will be held in short campaigning -- from 30 days to 5 days -- with limited public presentation according to measures set by health experts. In full respect for human life, the Alliance considers that the legitimacy of institutions and democracy should not be jeopardised”, the communique said.
Otherwise, political party representatives today will meet with President Vjosa Osmani to discuss the October 17th elections, following the recommendation of the Kosovo National Public Health Institute for their postponement.
