Team The REL, which has stood at the Jarinje and Brnjak border points, says that in the morning hours of Sunday morning, two aircraft from Serbia have been seen flying near the border with Kosovo.

But, it is generally reported that everything is calm and under the supervision of the Kosovo Police.

At the border points between Kosovo and Serbia, at Jarinje and Brnjak, special Kosovo Police units continue to be located for the seventh day in a row.

A day earlier, Kosovo's prime minister gathered the Kosovo Security Council, where the situation in the north was discussed and the co-ordination of further steps.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said on Saturday that decisions that will be taken regarding the created situation will be in line with estimates made to the security situation.

Kurti has said that while there is danger at the border points, there will be special Kosovo Police units.

Local Serbs are opposing the government's decision on reciprocity on the issue of Serbia's car license plates, which enter Kosovo.

They are unable to pass cars, while citizens are being forced to cross the border on foot.

Due to developments in the north, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani suspended her visit to the United States on 25 September and left for Kosovo.

President Osmani has said that Saturday's two attacks in Zubin Potok and Zvecan testify that Serbia is “the main source of destabilisation in the region”.

It called on the international community not to ignore what it described as the tendency of Russia and Serbia to destabilise the region and beyond.

The burning of the Auto-registering Centre in Zubin Potok and the attack on the Civil Record Centre in Zvecan have been condemned by authorities in Kosovo.

For attacks in the north, official Pristina has accused Belgrade.

Prime Minister Kurti, during a media conference, has said Saturday that Serbia is provoking serious international conflict that risks taking on regional size.

Serbia clearly wants to militarize and shape the situation. It is also bringing Russian-made helicopters and aircraft close to the Kosovo border. Through these attacks, the provocations the citizens of Kosovo use, Serbia provokes serious international conflict, which risks taking on regional size”, Kurti said.

Kosovo authorities on Monday, September 20th have started since Serbia's license plates -- which enter Kosovo -- were imposed temporary plates, having said Serbia is doing the same for years now.

The license issue is regulated by Brussels' Free Movement Agreement, within the framework of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, where all owners of cars living in Kosovo are to use license plates KSH (Kosovo) or ʹ RKS) (Republishment of Kosovo) and thus remove plates that for Kosovo Serbs issued to Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs. / REL/
