Edevaldo Haxhiu has been arrested, 36-year-old who is accused of helping and supporting the fugitive from Turkey, Faruk Fatiher, founder of the Thodex company, who is charged with millions of dollars in damage fraud.
The other suspect, A.C, has also fallen into the handcuffs, which took the fugitive from the airport to Tirana and sent him to a hotel.
Edevaldo Haxhiu, is the main suspect in the investigation and was apprehended by Tirana police at the hour of yesterday's day, Turkish media write.
Haxhiu, who was found to be traveling inside and outside Turkey often, was caught in the registers as he entered the hotel where he helped fugitive ãozer.
It is learned that Edevaldo Haxhi has not spoken in the police investigation and has declined the charges, saying he did not recognise Fatih Ozer.
He further argued that the charges he helped the fugitive Ozer were not true.
However, it was learned that police had much evidence that Edevaldo Haxhiu was “the person who helped Fatih ♫zer come to Albania”.
Turkey's chief public prosecutor's office launched an investigation on April 22nd, after a report found that users could not access their accounts in the exchange of crypto Thadex money, and that company owner Faruk Fatih Ozer fled abroad.
In this context, it was confirmed by official documents and records that the suspect, company owner Faruk Fatih finished abroad on April 20th and was determined to have no activity at the company's official addresses.
The warrant was issued for 82 suspects, including Ozer, for whom an international warrant was issued.
81 suspects were detained in the organised operation in eight Istanbul-based provinces. 6 of them, including Faruk Fatih's brother Fatizer, Güven ãozer, and his brother Serap ãozer, were arrested.
At the same time, it is still unknown where Ozer is, along with millions of dollars, was taken from his company's users. /Abcnea. al
