A pregnant woman has died at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, as a result of infection with COVID-19.
News of her death has confirmed the Express to intensive treatment doctor Agreta Gecaj-Gashi, who has declared that 29-year-old is dead Monday.
“Pardje is dead, it wasn't vaccinated. The victim was born in 1991”, Gicaj Gashi stated.
She has stated that four pregnant women who are being treated in intensive treatment are also in serious health condition as a result of COVID-19 infection.
Meanwhile, Gynecology Clinic Director Jakup Ismajli has told Express that the victim has been in the first weeks of pregnancy.
The patient has come from Gjilan, has stayed a short time in gynecology, then in consultation with other doctors has been transferred to intensive central medicine. It was an early pregnancy, in 6th week”, declared Ishmael.
