27 thousand 404 active cases with COVID-19 in Kosovo

Currently in the country are 27 thousand and 404 active cases with COVID-19.

In daily data from the Kosovo National Public Health Institute ( The IKKPK turns out that Pristina again leads with the highest number of cases active with coronarys. In Pristina alone, there are 5 thousand and 131 active cases.

In Prizren municipality, two thousand and 371 active cases are reported, in Pec there are 1866, Ferizaj 1 thousand 749, Gjakova 1,000 and 712 active cases, Gjilan 1,000 and 377.

At least active cases are reported to be in Han, Elez. Currently in this municipality are 133 active cases with COVID-19.

While IKSCK reported 22 cases of death as a cause of COVID-19 on Wednesday, while out of 14,284 tests, 1,894 citizens have resulted positive with the COVID-19 virus.

Because of increasing the number of cypitalizations many clinics at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (QKUK) have already become clinics for treating patients with COVID-19.

Following the situation created by the pandemic COVID-19, the Kosovo government has imposed new anti measures CO IVD-19, which measures have entered into force on August 30th.

These measures include restricting the movement of citizens, limiting the work of gastronomics, delaying the start of the learning process until September 13th, and other measures you can find below.

As soon as these measures went into effect, fines began on citizens who did not respect them. On Wednesday, Kosovo police announced the pronunciation of 3981 fines.
