By 25 September, the Deliu family had been sheltered in the mountain to escape Serbian attacks. A day later, on September 26, about 10:00 a.m., Serbian infantry had penetrated it. On this occasion there were heard gunshots and shouting.
After the attack, it was found that all victims, children, elders, women, and young people had been shot in the head from the vicinity. The bodies of the executed showed clear evidence of a slaughter.
