23 Years From the Massacre of Upper Abria

On 26 September 1998, in the Upper Abria, Serbian forces committed one of the worst massacres during the war in Kosovo. By 25 September, the Deliu family had been sheltered in the mountain to escape Serbian attacks. A day later, on September 26, about 10:00 a.m., Serbian infantry had penetrated it. On this occasion there were heard gunshots and shouting.
After the attack, it was found that all victims, children, elders, women, and young people had been shot in the head from the vicinity. The bodies of the executed showed clear evidence of a slaughter.
