At least 14 people have died as a result of storms and hurricane Ida hitting a part of the United States.
A 50 - year - old man, a 48 - year - old woman and a 2 - year - old boy were declared dead at the scene at their residence on 64th Street, after police responded to the call for help, found them unconscious and without signs of life.
In New Jersey, Mayor Hector Lora told CNN that an elderly man's body, near 70th, was cast out of the water after his car was flooded. According to him, firefighters did everything to save him, but they failed.
