A person called 911 when Lynn fell behind after a child appeared in the background and participants heard a gun noise.
The officers and doctors responded and did their best to help, but Lynn had a deadly gunshot wound.
An adult had left a loaded gun in the apartment, and the little boy found him shooting his mother.
Detectives are working with the District Attorney's Office of Semino to determine whether any charges will be filed against the owner of the weapon.
