Warning for humanity. UN Report: The earth is warming faster than predicted

The damaging influence of mankind in climate is now a fact, UN scientists say, and must move quickly to avoid catastrophic changes that would transform life as we know it. A recent report says continued gas emissions can also bring a breach [...]
A recent report says continued gas emissions could also bring a break to the temperature limit in just over a decade.
The authors also show that an increase of sea level by 2m until the end of this century “is not excluded from”.
But there is a new hope that greenhouse gas emissions cuts can stabilise temperatures.
Today's report is a red code for humanity, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said.
If we combine forces now, we can avoid climate disaster. But as today's report makes clear, there is no time for delay and no room for excuses. I seek the support of the leaders of governments and all other actors on this thing”, he said.
The authors say that since 1970, global temperatures have increased faster than in any other 50-year period over the past 2,000 years, the TCC reports.
This warming is already bringing extreme weather and climate in every region around the globe.
Whether heat waves like those recently experienced in Greece and North America, or floods like those in Germany and China, show that human influence has been strengthened over the past decade.
