Vlora Citaku: Arben Vitita is giving up her responsibilities, leaving doctors and citizens alone

Party Vice President Democratic Kosovo, Vlora Citaku, has sharply criticised Health Minister Arben Vitita and Government Kurti for what she says, fleeing the responsibility to deal with the alarming rise in cases of COVID-19 to take local elections. Through a Facebook post, Citaku said Kosovo has the highest scale [...]

Through a Facebook post, Citaku said Kosovo has the highest level of infection and the lowest level of vaccine in Europe.

Citaku says nothing is more important than the lives of citizens, so according to her, this kind of apathy on the part of institutions is unacceptable.

Full Posting:

There are 1300 new cases of COVID today.

For the head, Kosovo has the highest level of infection, and the lowest rate of vaccine in Europe.

The minister of Health, instead of surrendering to the alarming situation and leaving health workers and citizens alone to compete in local elections, it urgently needs to decentralise and simplify the vaccine process by providing services at family medicine centres as well as mobile centres.

Nothing is more important than public health. This kind of apathy on the part of institutions is unacceptable”.
