All protesters have opposed the Special Court, saying that former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, top parliamentmen, Jakup Kranisqi and Kadri Veselini, as well as former LVV parliamentary group chief Rexhep Selimi will return to Kosovo free because they are innocent.
This protest is organised by former veteran Nuredin Gashi, who lives in Sweden. He for Kosovo Prees, says this protest has been organised in a solidification of Kosovo's deliverers who are being tried unjustly at The Hague.
Gashi addressed criticism against the Kosovo government for failing to release former KLA leaders.
This protest is a sign of solidification with our rescuers who are kidnapped and tried unjustly in The Hague, so we have come to express our opinion that we are with them and should certainly because they are innocent... Before the Government, we're protesting because I and all of us remember that this government was burned by people who don't want what's good for this country and I'm hoping that these too will hear our voice and I have an observation about it because these people instead of gathering and protecting our rescuers, these are pushing data and sending it to the Special Court because these are against the Kosovo Liberation Army<1>, he said.
Nuredin Gashi, who is also Rapsod, says Kosovo currently has remained a body without the heads of the nation.
Kosovo is at the moment a headless body of the nation has unjustly taken away from us and trying to condemn them. We have come out to express our dissatisfaction peacefully, if these continue, the current government play with the fate of the best sons of our nation and toʹte the three golden letters of Kosovo, then we will force us to stand up differently... There are disabled, war veterans and people who have 9 bullets in their bodies”, Gashi said.
Many of the protesters held the Kosovo Liberation Army flag in their hands and wore the uniforms, and the T-shirt with the inscription “Liberty has a name”.
