The move has been warned by the Oda of Hotelery and Tourism and the Gastronom Association. According to them, for this measure, which has also been discussed with the Health Ministry, Arben Vitita, is expected to be deployed soon.
In the Ministry of Health, a written response has told Radio Free Europe that there is still no decision on any such measure.
But if a measure, which testifies to the inoculation of social activity, is taken, then the identification of those who have been vaccinated and those who haven't done it, is easy because each vaccinated gets the vaccine card and has the QR code that identifies the status of the vaccine.
“MSH has updated temporary guidelines for general and special measures for protection from COVID-19, including the gastronomy sector and according to these guides, the monitoring organs, as well as the managers of these activities are obliged to implement anti-communication measures. - COVID-19, understood whether such measures will be taken”, the ministry's response says.
Meanwhile, this move, according to Arrian Vrainca from the Kosovo Gastronomous Association, would save this sector from closure and, according to him, is the only solution not to have economic losses, which cannot be covered by the state.
For implementation of this measure, when it goes into effect, private sector itself would be cared for, in concrete case, because according to gastronomics, public institutions could not do so.
“will specify a manager who will be left on the outside of the space and make control of all those who want to enter the local. All, before late at the bar, should testify to the certificate of the vaccine, at least one dose of”, says Vrainca.
Meanwhile, the gastronomial sector is holding the vaccine campaign, on the contrary, as Vrainca adds, gastronomy bars cannot be frequented.
He also added that there is no record of how much of the gastronomy staff are already immune.
On the other hand, Visar Demolli, executive director at the Hotel and Tourism Oda, tells Radio Free Europe that in co-operation with the Ministry of Health, Kosovo Police are preparing a manual for implementation of this measure.
He also confirms that for implementation of this move, the owners of economic activities in the gastronomy and hotel sector will be responsible themselves.
On August 6th, we were at the meeting and asked not to think of a decision to close up the gastronomy and hotel sector, as it would be fatal. We went on demand that by August 20th, at least every client attending wedding halls, nightclubs, shopping centers have a dose of vaccine”, Demolli says.
For and against vaccine
By 9 August, 492,801 doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus have been administered in Kosovo, while 167,912 citizens have been vaccinated with both doses of the vaccine.
Not all, however, advocate vaccination to participate in social activities, such as family parties, shopping malls, restaurants, and nightclubs.
Citizens interviewed by Radio Free Europe differ.
Medina Bilalli, a student at Pristina University who has received the first dose of vaccine, says no one can be forced to take the vaccine.
It's good to vaccinate all citizens. But that is, in a sense, taking the right to decide citizenship, since there are those who do not want to be vaccinated. I myself have been vaccinated and encouraged others to be vaccinated. But deciding as through a law that you cannot enter anywhere without a vaccine is in conflict with human rights”, she says.
Crenar Lluminica, who also says that she has received the first dose of the anti - Coronavirus vaccine, feels that the evidence for vaccination in social activities should be established as a measure.
It's a fair decision, since vaccines have been made for it. I don't think it should be allowed access anywhere for those who don't vaccinate”, he says.
National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK) has called on citizens to respond to the communication campaign against COVID-19.
“With vaccination we're going to pass the new wave from Delta version with as little as sick and as few victims”, it says in an IKSHPK post on the social Facebook network.
The spread of the Delta version, which is a far more contagious version than the original version of the Coronavirus, has caused many countries to face increased cases, and some have even returned to wear masks, such as the U.S. case.
Studies have shown that people infected with viruses have milder symptoms of the disease and passed it more quickly.
Even more Kosovo, the number of Coronavirus infected has marked growth.
IK The KPS recorded 263 cases of coronary infection Monday after testing 3,008 samples.
Since March 13, 2020, when the first cases of infection have been recorded, health authorities in Kosovo have registered 110,194 patients with this virus.
