The Taliban met with Sky News journalists in Doha, before whom they issued a warning to US forces.

“It is a red line, President Biden had said that on August 31st they would withdraw all their military forces, and if they extend that deadline, it would mean they are extending the invasion. And if that happens, there will be reaction. If the U.S. or Great Britain requires additional time for evacuations, the answer is no. On the contrary, there will be consequences”, said militant group spokesman Suhail Shaheen.

His comments came at a time when British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to personally submit an appeal with Joe Biden for extending the deployment deadline of troops from Afghanistan, in order for a larger number of people to succeed in escaping the rule of Taliban terror.

Depressed scenes continue at Kabul airport, where people are prepared for everything and even risk their lives just to flee. Taliban propaganda does not accept that, reports the TCH.

Despite the tragic images of people caught on the wheels of the plane, some fell from the height, Shaheen said that all of this is simply economic migration.

I can assure you this is not about worry or fear. They just want to go to Western countries because here in Afghanistan, there is great poverty”, the thaliban spokesman said.
