According to foreign media reports, Olda Hakim, who was born in Afghanistan but moved to Australia in 1986, was conducting an interview when the phone call arrived.
And at some point she looked troubled, as she looked down while the call came.
The call had come as rebels from the Islamic group advanced to Kabul, Afghanistan this weekend.
Hakim, trying to make sure viewers hear Suhail Shaheen spokesman, said: “Well, as soon as we have you on the phone, so we'll see if we can put you on speaker. Can our viewers hear it? Can you talk, sir? Can you introduce yourself?

Okay, we got the Taliban spokesman, Shail Shaheen on the line. Mr. Shaheen, can you hear me?
After confirming that Shaheen could hear Hakim, the Taliban spokesman said the terrorist group would promote “peace” and that Afghanistan's people should not worry about taking their homes.
“There should be no confusion, we are sure that the people of Afghanistan in the city of Kabul, that their properties and their lives are safe”, he said further.
