Tahiri: VV closed the session in Parliament with the capture of the Auditor Office

The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, said today after the closure of the Kosovo Parliamentary session that the Vetevendosje Movement and Albin Kurti have used the parliamentary majority to capture the vital state institutions. He told the media conference that Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje deputies have [...]

He said at the media conference that Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje deputies have used 150 days' work in the Assembly to download boards of independent institutions, professional management and to appoint the family members of Vetevendosje ministers, the family of the President of Kosovo and grandchildren, their aunts and aunts.

What I said from the beginning of this majority was confirmed today that Vetevendosje and Albin Kurti have become the largest domestic employment company. As they began the parliamentary session with dismissals and family appointments, Albin Kurti concluded the parliamentary session today with the capture of one of Kosovo's most important institutions, such as the Office of the General Auditor. Albin Kurti, today appointed the General AuDiret sister of his adviser”, Tahiri said, conveys Telegrafi.

He said the standard that Kosovo had built with much effort and assistance from our international strategic partners, so that the National Auditor Office is independent, impartial and creditable, today Albin Kurti destroyed it, seized it as an instrument of personal power.

From today, the General Auditor's reports of Kosovo's central institutions, of municipalities and other independent institutions, including reports of Kosovo's judicial and prosecutorial system, will be written in the Office of Albin Kurti and he will be the author of the degradation and credibility of this institution”, Tahiri said.

Speaking of the work during this parliamentary session, PDK's chief PDK Parliamentary Group said that because of the establishment of the Assembly of Kosovo, this is the weakest parliamentary majority, which the Vetevendosje Movement and Albin Kurti lead.

For 150 days of governance, the Kosovo Assembly has adopted only 4 laws.

None of these laws are related to the implementation of promises that Albin Kurti has made during the campaign before citizens. This speaks best of the inability of this Government and these parliamentary majority deputies”, he said.

Tahiri has said that during work at this parliamentary session, The PDK, as opposition leaders, has consistently raised its voice against the arbitrary decisions of the parliamentary majority of Vetevendosje and praised that in some cases there have been major successes in defending constitutional order and independent institutions.

“With the initiative of the PDK Parliamentary Group, we have denounced economic crime that this parliamentary majority of Vetevendosje did in the Parliament, when it decided to pay 11m euros for electricity in the north. We are convinced that the Constitutional Court will issue a verdict that confirms our” arguments, Tahiri said, citing as well as other allegations they have made about the dismissal of members of independent institutions' boards.

“During this Parliamentary session, in the face of this inaction and in the face of the ruling party's ignorance, we have invited five parliamentary debates on abuses and abuses of this government, both in health, in education, in economics, in infrastructure and recently for reporting 100 days' work. Likewise, we have undertaken legal initiatives as deputies, since the Government not only has no vision but has not even mentioned them in its programme such topics as the VAT law, the law on prices of medical and other products”, Tahiri said.

He stressed that at the next parliamentary session, which begins in mid-September, The PDK, as opposition leader, will do even more to stop the ill-governance of Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani.
