Through a post in his Facebook account, Tahiri said that this document leaves Podujevo town rather than city as it deserves.

The old-fashioned new power is leaving Podujevo a town, not a city that deserves it.
The Podujevo Community Zone Map project saw the procedures have passed the assessment by sectoral ministries.
This document leaves Podujevo town, not a city as it deserves, and as is one of the largest cities in Kosovo with over 89,000 inhabitants, with 633 square metres and a population with 57 percent under the age of 30.
Let me get this straight. The Zone Map must have full harmony with the Municipal Development Plan. And this adopted document now has contradictions, shortcomings and durability in relation to the Development Plan.
It is logical and impossible to implement the 2020-2028 System Map and precede the Municipal Development Plan 2016-2025.
Because Map Zone leaves Podujevo town, not city like it is on the Communist Development Plan.
These two documents should be in harmony because they are difficult to change and produce major and lasting consequences for citizens.
The area map should design an attractive city for living and for businesses, not for returning Podujevo to town.
The new power with old approaches, with pressing actions, should stop and not degrade Podujevo even more.
