Kosovo Interior Minister Jhelal Svecla has arrived along with troops of fire forces to continue working to bring the situation under control.
Among other things, he has suggested that other fire forces from Kosovo are expected tomorrow.
The situation in Kosovo is relaxed and we are already able to help our brothers not only in Kukes but wherever they are. We have mobilised 34 firefighters, we are waiting to be joined by Kosovo KSF troops. Tomorrow we expect more forces to join us. It will be expected to dawn the day to enable and neutralize the flames. Our troops will stay as long as necessary and we will have the capacity and help,”, he said.
On the other hand, Kosovo Fire Department Director Hasan Kodra in his address has suggested that fire vehicles have already arrived in Kukes and are expected to arrive and KSF forces.
He has stressed that there are 33 firefighters, 9 firemen for mountainous terrain, and equipment with auto tanker suppliers ready to neutralise the flames in Kalimash.
