The subject application deadline towards end, only 27 applied by Saturday

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has released the latest data concerning the application process.

Elez said that by Saturday afternoon The CEC has accepted the requirement for certificate of 27 political subjects.

Until mid-day, the CEC has accepted applications from 27 political subjects, of which 5 political parties, 9 civic initiatives and 13 independent candidates. The overall number of candidates of these political subjects is: 13 candidates for the mayors of the municipalities and 182 candidates for the Municipal Countries”, Elez said.

Elez made it known that the deadline for the political subjects to apply is Monday, August 16th, until 4: 00 p.m.

But according to him, any application delayed will not be recommended for certificate.

“Political subjects have long since Monday, 16 August, at 4: 00 p.m., to submit their applications along with the candidate's names, otherwise any application would then be considered an inefficiable application, which means it will not be recommended for certificate”, Elez said.
