I think he should resign. I understand that the state legislature can decide on judgment. I know it actually”, said Biden to the Democrat Governor in response to a question from a reporter at the White House.
Under a five-month investigation detailed Tuesday by New York State Attorney General Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually molested numerous women contrary to American and state law.
But the governor quickly objected to any improper conduct and made it clear that he has no intention of resigning.
I want you to know directly from me that I have never touched anyone improperly or done inappropriate sexual harassment“, said Cuomo, a Democrat who has served as governor since 2011. I'm 63 years old. I've lived my entire adult life in public view. I'm no different. And I've never been like they describe me”.
The investigation concluded that Mr. Cuomo is involved in harassment, kissing and unwanted hugs and has made inappropriate comments about a total of 11 women, General Prosecutor Letia James said at a press conference Tuesday, adding that the governor's office had become a <x0 working toxic location” that enabled harassment to occur. This was a civil investigation and would not lead directly to criminal charges against the governor.
