Seshel criminal reacts after Teodosijevic's Kosovo sentence

Serbian Radical Party Chairman criminal Vojislav Seshel has said Serbia must react decisively to the decision of Pristina's Constitutional Court to convict former minister Ivan Teodosievic because of the statement he issued two years ago on the 20th anniversary of the NATO bombing, where he termed it fiction [...]

Seshel said Serbia should not boycott the dialogue, but stressed that the issue of Teodosievic's condemnation should be raised there.

It would not be wise to say now that we will not go into negotiations until this issue is resolved, because then Pristina means Serbia is undermining negotiations. However, the continuation of the negotiations has been warned, but they should not be at the highest level, no minister or a lower-level state official can go and say that we have nothing new to talk about until Teodosijevic is released and he is given a fair and fair trial before a court of two judges, Serbs and an Albanian, as defined by the Brussels Agreement”, Seshel said on TV Pink.

He said he would have seen this as a condition for the introduction of Serbian courts in Kosovo institutions.

Who is Vojislav Seshel?

Seshel has been convicted of war crimes by the International Criminal Tribunal for Crimes in the former Yugoslavia during the time he was Serbia's deputy prime minister.

He surrendered voluntarily to The Hague International Criminal Court in February 2003, but his trial began until November 2007.

On March 31, 2016, he was acquitted in a first - degree decision. On April 11, 2018, the Appeals Chamber partially violated its first-degree decision, declaring Seheshel guilty of crimes against humanity because of his role in promoting the expulsion of Croats from Hrtkovci. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but due to his past time in the detention of The Hague International Criminal Tribunal, he was not obliged to return to prison.
