21 years after the war ended in Kosovo, residents of the Karacheva village of the municipality of Kamenica are continuing to be endangered by the Serbian gendarmerie.
The nights of the citizens of this country have already turned into anxiety, as very often they face the problem of protecting their lands.
The local community's chairman and Karacheva residents' representative, Selver Lenyan, of news.net has expressed concern that the border generation villages of this country will remain outside Kosovo's territory, following the recent entry of Serb gendarmerie there.
He said that although 21 years every institution in the Republic of Kosovo has been informed of this problem, no one has taken up the issue, that all fate has remained at the mercy of the citizens of these villages.
Lenyan says the entrance of gendarmes into Kosovo's territory has not stopped yet.
For 21 years, we have warned every institution of this problem, no one has ever dealt with any cases, but I'm afraid that all fate has remained at the mercy of Karatcheva residents. I have also held a meeting with Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, I have asked him to accept a delegation to the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, to make a firm decision and deal with the issue of the border generation, I fear that the villages of this generation will remain outside Kosovo territory, they constantly enter into the country of”, he told news.
Lenyan has asked Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, but also Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who urgently ask Brussels to protect territorial territory and sovereignty and defend Karacheva's lands, as the entry of any gendarmerie that violates the calm of residents is prohibited under him.
“Request urgently from the presidents, Vjosa Osmni, and the prime minister, Albin Kurti, to send prayers to Brussels and ask for protection of the border generation and territorial sovereignty and to protect our lands, in no way dare they invade our lands and disturb citizens by creating problems of”, added to the news.net.
We remember that Karacheva is a neutral zone and the only force allowed to enter that area is KFOR, and that the entry of the Serbian gendarmerie into this area by residents now and sometimes is considered direct provocation.
